Josh and I stopped at the house on our way home from running errands yesterday afternoon. You'll notice there are little pieces of blue tape all over the walls. Those are to mark dings and dents that the drywall guys need to fix. They were originally circled with pencil, but the painters came to prime the walls before the drywall guys could come back, so now they have to be marked all over again. It's actually easier to spot the dings now that the walls are painted. Rob suggested we grab some blue tape whenever we're over at the house and mark any other dings we find.
It sounded like someone had left a radio on upstairs, so we went up to investigate. We were pleasantly surprised to find Juan and Romero hard at work installing subway tile in the master bathroom -- especially since it was nearly 5 pm. They had almost finished the interior of the shower and had started on the walls and the area around the tub.
They had also finished laying the floor in the other bathroom upstairs. It looks great! This pattern is just 6x6" white tiles arranged in a pinwheel around little blue ceramic circles. They haven't grouted yet, so it will probably look slightly different when it's finished.
The built-in cabinetry and window seat in the master bedroom is really taking shape. I'm glad we decided to do this, as it will add a lot of charm to the master bedroom and give us plenty of additional storage space.
